Remus is a booknerd, but not your average one. He can be rebellious, yet also see the good in everyone. He has a certain amount of self-hate, but loves his friends. He works extremely hard at everything he does. He loves chocolate and its many uses, and loves books, from which the world can be explained.

Biography: Remus Lupin was born in a small town on the way outside of London. Raised mostly by his mother, he has a fairly nice, relaxed life until he was 6, when his father, who worked for the Ministry, insulted Fenrir for sending Aurors after him. As revenge, Fenrir stalked Remus for two days. On the third, the day of the full moon, he made sure to stick near Remus when he went out to explore the field beyond his house, and, as a werewolf, bit him on the hip, and ran away.
His parents tried desperately to comfort him, and his mother even gave hims chocolate, which lead to his slight obsession. Mr. and Mrs. Lupin spent months looking for a cure, even taking trips to France, Italy, and Norway. When it was apparent no where in the world had a cure, they settled for helping Remus through his transformations every much and finding out as much about his disease as possible. They started home tutoring him before finding out he could attend Hogwarts.

"Lupin, Remus", McGonnagall said in her thick Scottish accent.
Remus gulped. This was it. Sorting time. He had read about it, how students' minds were probbed and prodded to try and determine whether they were brave, loyal, intelligent, or cunning. As Remus walked up to the hat, he took a moment to wonder where he'd be. He was almost positive he wouldn't be in Slytherin. He was too unbiased for that. Then again, Sirius, who he'd met on the train seemed fine enough, more than fine, actually, and he said he came from an entire LINE of Slytherins. He could be in Hufflepuff; he seemed loyal enough to himself. Gryffindor also seemed plausible... but if he had to bet, he was almost positive he was going to be a Ravenclaw. With his bookishness, he would fit in well.
Remus sat down, lightly settling the hat on his head. It smelled of mothballs and old. Well, well, well... what do we have hear...? A werewolf, eh? A bookish one... Hmmm... but Ravenclaw isn't for you, no... no... you're too strong of heart, from your transformations... you're not afraid of pain; you deal with it every day... a very strong heart, indeed... Ah, Gordic would be proud... it's been a while since we've had so bright a mind and spirit in... "GRYFFINDOR!"
Remus smiled. He beamed at James and Peter, who had yet to be sorted, and walked down the aisle towards Sirius, who was waving his arm like a madman. Remus slid onto the bench next to him, readjusting his sweater vest. "So, we're together, eh?" he asked, beaming.
Sirius took a moment, then responded, "Yeah. We are."
Oh dear... thank Merlin this isn't legitimate RPing... slight god modding near the end there...
